Meet Phoenix, a sweet five-month-old light gray tabby with soulful eyes, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. This little ray of sunshine adores people and happily socializes with cats and dogs. He has a wonderful appetite, uses his litter box consistently, and is steadily gaining weight. Phoenix is slightly wobbly on his feet, but his charming little walk only makes him more endearing!
Phoenix has epilepsy following neurological issues believed to have been caused by toxoplasmosis during his early life on the streets. Thanks to veterinary care and the dedication of his foster family, his latest bloodwork for toxoplasmosis is negative and his seizures are fully controlled with oral medication.
Phoenix needs a committed, dependable adopter who can administer his medication every eight hours. At this time, each dose must be given within a 15-minute window, so a structured household and consistent schedule are essential. His medication currently costs approximately $18 per month, and his adopter will need an established relationship with a veterinarian who can monitor his condition and ongoing care.
Although Phoenix may have a shorter life expectancy than some cats, he is stable, happy, affectionate, and ready to enjoy a wonderful life with a family of his own. In return for a few extra minutes of care each day, this extraordinary little fighter will fill his home with love, playfulness, and sunshine.
